This stylish and exclusive hotel is perched on the Praia das Gaivotas cliffs in the resort of Porches and is set amongst beautiful gardens, whilst also offering breathtaking sea views.
Accommodation
Two main categories of accommodation are available, 111 Suites and 20 Residences. Suites are perfect for couples but can take an extra child or adult as well and range from Elegant Suites with resort views to Ocean Suites as well as larger options such as Master Suites. All suite options feature a balcony or terrace. Residences can either have two or three bedrooms and also come with balconies or terraces are also their own kitchenettes
Living
There are five outdoor sea-water swimming pools to choose from amongst the hotel’s gardens and all are equipped with sun loungers. An additional pool is also located indoors in the hotel’s Spa.
The wellness centre at the hotel has an indoor pool as well as a sauna, hammam and an abundance of treatments available including various Thalasso treatments, massages and activities such as yoga and pilates. Also located in the wellness centre is a gym.
Other activities at the hotel include the Racket Club, which comprises 3 tennis courts, 1 padel court and 2 pickleball courts as well as a kids club and playground.
There are a choice of six restaurants at the hotel. ‘Coral’ is a smaller, more intimate setting with views out to sea and offering local dishes. ‘A-Costa’ features light Portuguese fare, served by one of the hotel’s pools. ‘Trattoria Pantaleone’ is a family friendly venue serving Italian cuisine. ‘Raizes Horta da Terra’ is a very popular restaurant, focusing on dishes cooked by fire and BBQ style, located in a quiet spot of the resort. ‘Vento’ also located by one of the pools, offers Mediterranean cuisine and lastly ‘Gaivotas’ specialises in Portuguese fish and rice dishes.
