As you enter the long winding driveway to this magnificent country wine estate, you could easily believe you were in Tuscany! Rows and rows of vineyards and rolling hills, lead to a beautiful 12th century restored abbey originally founded by Norman monks.
Accommodation
Rustic rooms spread over the various wings of the abbey. Classic rooms (with shower) look over the gardens/courtyard, whilst larger deluxe rooms have bath and pool view. Larger Junior suites and suites are also on offer.
Living
Breakfast is served in restaurant Passioni e Tentazioni overlooking the pool. During peak season light lunches here too. Housed within the abbey, restaurant La Corte dell’Abate offers local fare accompanied by a variety of excellent wines produced by the estate. Wine tasting, cookery lessons and horse-riding are available (pre-booking essential and all payable locally). Terrace with pool and stunning views. Cefalu is a twenty minute drive away, as is the town of Castelbuono. An economy hire car is included.
