Klahoose Wilderness Resort, sits on the remote shores and calm waters of Homfray Channel, is only accessible by water and offers an Indigenous cultural experience. It’s an authentic all-inclusive eco-resort in the coastal wilderness of the Klahoose people. It’s a resort that reflects the Klahoose traditional values and offers an immersive exploration into a pristine region rich in diverse wilderness, cultural significance and wildlife including grizzly bear viewing tours in Toba Inlet. Accommodation comprises of four lodge rooms each with a private bathroom and three one- or two-bedrooms cabins. All rooms have ocean views. The main building features a lounge with large open fireplace and comfortable seating, dining room and expansive decks overlooking the water.
Wildlife and Grizzly Bear Viewing Seasons
From May to mid-August a Cultural and Wildlife Boat Tour exploring Toba Inlet is included and from mid-August, grizzly bear viewing tour(s) in the Toba Inlet are included. Regardless of the season, there are kayaks and paddle boards to use, ocean swimming, and forest walks. A truly ‘away from it all’ experience in a stunning location.

Arrival Options
Flights between Vancouver and Powell River are available (extra charge applies) and transfers between the airport and Lund can be arranged. If driving we recommend an overnight stay at Powell River or Lund, on the Sunshine Coast, both easily reached from Vancouver.
