    DAY 3

    Kangaroo Island

    DAY 4

A private car takes you south to Cape Jervis for the ferry crossing to Kangaroo Island. Settle into Sea Dragon — a boutique retreat set on a 250-acre seafront estate just two minutes from a private beach — where sundowners with wild kangaroos and two-course dinners from island producers will define your evenings for the next three nights.
  • 05

    Flinders Chase & Seal Bay

    DAY 5

A full day out into Kangaroo Island's wild interior. Walk the sand dunes of Seal Bay alongside endangered Australian sea lions, stop for lunch on a private property home to a koala colony, then take in the dramatic Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch. Back at Sea Dragon, the resident days are filled with gin tastings, honey workshops, lighthouse walks, yoga by the waves and sundowners with the kangaroos.
  • 06

    Island at Your Own Pace

    DAY 6

Another day to make your own on Kangaroo Island — explore 250 acres of bushland on foot, spot echidnas, Tammar wallabies and over 35 bird species, or transfer to Dudley Wines for views over Backstairs Passage and a tasting paddle above the cliff edge.
  • 07

    Adelaide Hills

    DAY 7

A private car winds you up from Cape Jervis through the Fleurieu Peninsula to the Adelaide Hills, where Sequoia Lodge perches on the side of Mount Lofty high above the Piccadilly Valley.
